About the Project:

SEZAH came from the idea of creating a branding system for a fictional pop-punk musician. The objective was to establish elements that could carry across deliverables and still remain cohesive yet fun and unique.

Approach:

To reference the “pop-punk” element, I chose to utilize orange as a pop of color which paired well with the blue sky background. In addition to this, I created numerous organic shapes both as focal points and graphic elements. In order to remain experimental, I started with two digitally drawn lines and used Adobe Illustrator’s blend tool to connect them. Depending on how they blended I could either tweak the existing lines or redraw them. This allowed me the freedom to explore how shapes interacted with the type as well as the photograph’s subject. Several of the shapes are effective across elements and others are specific to their purpose. Deliverables include Vinyl, Digital, and CD mockups, a single-page website, merchandise, and promotional materials.
