About the Project:

Intersection Magazine functions as a “paper-house” for my photography project titled The Intersection of Persona. Each set of photographs explores the connection between a subject and their respective space and how that combination affects their personal narrative.

Approach:

Each set of images showcases a person in an environment specific to them. To support the visual narrative of each image, I included articles that provide context and expand upon each person’s story. In order to keep it in a realistic editorial style, I created several advertisements that are scattered throughout the articles, again using my own imagery. These advertisements alternate from fictitious fashion brands to local coffee shops. The layouts vary across spreads but do repeat throughout the magazine in order to create a cohesive feel.

Note: Articles are for fictitious project purposes only and do not accurately reflect the subjects represented.
